A year ago we released our first full length album "Poems From The Sea", a short story revolving around the sea's influence. What better way to celebrate its first anniversary than releasing a follow-up, a track continuing and concluding this story?

"Gale" serves as that: A fitting reimagination, a stormy conclusion. For this anniversary track, the atmosphere is key. From traditional instuments of nations near the sea, "Gale" gets its character.

The Mandolin from Italy, the Bouzouki from Greece and Turkey, the Oud from the wider Mediterranean, the Scottish Pipes and Taganing Batak, a collection of tribal drums from Sumatra, as well as an Orchestra, with Violins, Violas, Celli and Trumpets along with various Synths, electronic drum machines and Pianos make this offering the most diverse Cenozoa release to date.

I feel all these promiscuous elements fit nicely together under the umbrella of Post/Progressive Metal and I wish you all a nice journey with "Gale"
